GENERAL

WHAT IS CHECK IN / CHECK OUT TIME?

Check in time is 3pm and check out time is 12pm. 

CAN WE REQUEST A SPECIFIC ROOM?

When requesting a specific room within a category, we are happy to hear your preferences and do our best to accommodate the request. 

WHAT HOURS IS THE FRONT OFFICE OPEN?

Front office hours are open 8:30am-8:30pm Thursday-Saturday and Sunday-Wednesday 9:00 am-5:00pm

WHAT IF I AM ARRIVING AFTER CLOSING HOURS?

If you know you are arriving after office hours, please call or email 24-48 hours ahead of arrival for further instructions. Don’t worry, we would never leave you stranded.

IS SMOKING ALLOWED ON PROPERTY? IN THE SUITES

We have designated smoking areas on property. 

WIRELESS INTERNET?

Wi-fi access is complimentary and accessible in the room and common areas. Enjoy!

WHAT IS YOUR PET POLICY?

Unfortunately, The Charlie Hotel does not allow animals. Service animals must be registered.

TRANSPORTATION / DIRECTIONS

HOW DO I GET TO THE HOTEL?

We are located on Sweetzer Ave in-between Melrose Ave and Santa Monica Blvd located on a residential street with crossroads being Willoughby Ave and Waring Ave. We are located approximately 20 miles/ 40 minutes from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). DO YOU HAVE SECURE PARKING?

The Charlie has secure onsite parking.  One free parking spot included with website reservations, additional vehicles are $35.00. 

DO YOU HAVE TRANSPORTATION?

We are partnered with HEREMOBILITY for all your transportation needs. Please contact the hotel for your different options.

RESERVATIONS

WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?

Cancellations/modifications must be received 14 days prior to arrival (advanced purchase rates are non-refundable). If booking is cancelled/modified later or in case of a no show, the total price of the reservation will be charged. Credit card provided at time of booking will be used for all cancellation/ no show charges.

WHAT CAN I EXPECT ON MY CREDIT CARD/DEBIT CARD?

For rate of day reservations we take a one night deposit at time of your booking. This is a charge and gets transferred at check in.  For advanced purchase reservations the total amount is charged on the day of booking. A Preservation Fee of 3% is added to call reservations. 

DO YOU ACCOMMODATE LONG TERM STAYS?

Yes, our spacious rooms, equipped kitchens,  and washers/dryers make for very comfortable long term stays.  

DISCOUNTS?

We do have the advanced purchase rate option that is 15% off the original rate if you are booking 21 days prior to arrival. Other than that, keep an eye out for promotional emails with discounts!

IS MY ID/PASSPORT REQUIRED AT CHECK IN?

Yes.  If you are checking in after hours, please contact the hotel 24-48 hours prior to your arrival for instructions. 

IS MY CREDIT CARD REQUIRED AT CHECK IN?

Yes.  If you are checking in after hours, please contact the hotel 24-48 hours prior to your arrival for instructions. 

DO YOU HAVE AN EARLY AND/ OR LATE DEPARTURE FEE?

Yes.  Please contact the front office for assistance with early check in or late departures. 

ADA ACCESSIBLE?

Being a historic property our suites are unfortunately not ADA equipped. Our Goal is to provide hospitality to everyone and make it as easy as possible for all people including those with any disability to learn about our property and choose to stay with us. If you have some impairment covered by the Americans with Disabilities Act or a similar law, and you wish to discuss potential accommodations, please contact us at the telephone and/ or email below. ACCOUNTING

WHAT IF SOMEONE ELSE IS PAYING FOR MY STAY?

If a third party is paying for your stay, we will need an authorization form filled out by that party before check in. Please email the hotel to acquire information.

WHAT FORMS OF PAYMENT ARE ACCEPTED?

We accept all major forms of credit / debit cards and cash. We do not accept credit cards without a chip, pre-paid credit cards, checks, and cards that don’t match the reservation name.
